What is IAP Buddy?

IAP Buddy is a Mac app for App Store developers. It shows the prices of all your apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions on one screen, and lets you change a price by clicking it and choosing a new one. It works through Apple's App Store Connect API.

Is IAP Buddy the same app as Pricing for App Store Connect?

Yes. Pricing for App Store Connect was renamed IAP Buddy in version 1.6. It is the same app from the same developer, Nuclear Cyborg Corp.

What do I need to use IAP Buddy?

How do I create the App Store Connect API key?

  1. Open App Store Connect > Users and Access > Integrations > App Store Connect API.
  2. Click the plus (+) button under the Team section, not the Individual section.
  3. Give the key any name you like and grant it the App Manager and Finance roles.
  4. Copy the Issuer ID and Key ID into IAP Buddy's App Store Connect API Credentials screen.
  5. Download the .p8 key file, then select it or drop it onto that screen.

Where is my API key stored?

Your Issuer ID, Key ID, and private key are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac. IAP Buddy uses them to sign requests that go directly from your Mac to Apple's App Store Connect API. See the IAP Buddy privacy page for details.

Which platforms' apps can IAP Buddy manage?

IAP Buddy itself runs on the Mac. It works with your App Store Connect apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS, along with their in-app purchases and subscriptions, and can filter your apps by platform.

How much does IAP Buddy cost?

IAP Buddy is a free download on the Mac App Store and offers Full Access subscriptions as in-app purchases. Current plans and prices for your region are shown on the Mac App Store listing.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases made through the Mac App Store are refunded by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. See the Nuclear Cyborg Corp refund policy for details.

Is IAP Buddy made by Apple?

No. IAP Buddy is created, owned, and maintained by Nuclear Cyborg Corp, which is not affiliated with Apple Inc. App Store Connect and the App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
